After graduating from the Art Institute with a Bachelors in Media Arts and Animation in 2004, I've had a very diverse career in design, including; print and digital advertising, user experience design, motion graphics, mobile design, web, e-commerce, and video. Having worked with clients like Chicago Tribune, LA Times, John Deere, Pepsi, AbbVie, and Apple; I've had the chance to work on projects for several industries like advertising, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and technology.

Worked on SAP’s first and only partnership app with Apple. Lead the UX discovery, implementation and production. Supported SAP’s Global Design team in Palo Alto with UX direction and feedback on mobile projects and Fiori for iOS, SAP's design language. Collaborated with international UX designers in Budapest, Germany, Toronto, and Dublin on a weekly basis sharing UX and design feedback. Oversaw development team as app was being developed to ensure it followed UX and Fiori design standards.

Started with Tribune as an interactive designer and producer creating mobile websites, motion graphics, online ads and print advertising. Was nominated for an Emmy for WGN’s Fermilab microsite design for Tom Skilling in 2008. Was hired as Senior UX Design lead for Tribune Digital working on mostly mobile apps, UX research and design, with a focus on merging print and digital. Helped start Tribune’s first UX team in 2011 and was team lead for 2 years. Later hired as Art Director by Tribune Publishing to support all digital assets for Chicago Tribune, LA Times, Baltimore Sun and RedEye. Art directed and designed truck wrap, online, print and digital outdoor ads for the "Chicago Tribune Digital" multi-platform campaign, which won an Silver International News Media Award for best brand awareness campaign across platforms in 2014.
In charge of creating promotional print material for real estate agents and the company. Created all print and web ads for company and in-house pre-construction projects. Managed, maintained and created weekly Herald, Sun Times, Ocean Drive magazine and New York Times online and print ads. Created the 'Get Carson' print campaign, which translated into a 35% increase in pre-construction sales within three months. Established new relationships with local newspapers and advertisers to form a more collaborative partnership, and give Carson a strong presence within the Miami Real Estate industry.
